Stonecircle Interfaith is an all-inclusive community based in Amberley that embraces all faiths, beliefs, traditions and the Interfaith (Interspiritual) vision of Unity, striving to live this inclusivity in loving and compassionate service to all.
Stonecircle Interfaith Community is the home of John and Michele, an ordained Interfaith Minister. They have now retired from commercial organic market gardening, which was set up on the property in 2005, and are now putting their time and energy into developing the Interfaith Community.
Interfaith philosophy is about celebrating unity within diversity. Central to the interfaith vision is the desire to open ones's heart and mind in order to better understand other people and their beliefs at a deeper level of experience.
Stonecircle Interfaith's vision is for shared sustainable and self-sufficient community living, supporting care into ageing, while holistically supporting the health of people and the planet, and at all times, respecting Mother and Father Nature, ourselves and each other.
Stonecircle Interfaith Community host a variety of events, Interfaith gatherings, Oneness blessings (offered at OneCircle Farm next door), workshops, retreats, farm stays and gatherings. All are welcome and free to use the sacred spaces on the farm to pray, meditate, walk the labyrinth, practise yogo, host events of their own and so much more.
The 8m stone circle, created by family and friends, lies in the meadow. It symbolises the Oneness and Unity of life and the continuing cycles and seasons of life. It is a sacred place and the site of the energy centre of the entire farm. The power of the circle continues to grow as many gather in dance, song, ritual, qigong, yoga, meditation, prayer and quiet reflection.
In the meadow lies a beautiful grass labyrinth based on the pattern from the Chartres Cathedral in France. We welcome people to wander this single, circuitous path that winds its way into the centre to quiet the mind, recover a balance in life, encourage meditation, insight self-reflection, stress reduction, and to discover innovation and celebration.
Our central mission is to support people in developing an authentic spirituality in their own lives; a spirituality that will enable them to live as ethical, compassionate, loving men and women in their daily lives and immediate communities. Such people, we believe, become a powerful force for healing the global community.
